Key Features:

• Seizure Detection: SeizAlarm utilizes the motion sensors on the iPhone and/or motion sensors or heart rate sensor on the Apple Watch to detect seizure-like events. Customizable sensitivity controls allow users to adjust settings according to their specific needs. In the event of a potential seizure, emergency contacts are automatically notified through multiple channels such as phone call, text message, and email.
• Immediate Manual Help Requests: Users can manually send help requests to their emergency contacts, providing an extra layer of security and assistance.
• Time Delayed Help Requests: This feature is particularly useful for individuals who experience localized seizures (auras) that may progress into generalized tonic-clonic seizures. Users can set a custom delay time in the settings. When a seizure warning is initiated, a countdown timer is displayed, and it can be extended with a simple press of a button. If the user becomes unresponsive due to a seizure, a help request will be automatically sent once the timer ends.
• Accurate Location Sharing: When a help request is sent, emergency contacts receive GPS coordinates (if available), enabling them to identify the precise location of the individual in need.
• Seizure Event Tracking: SeizAlarm offers robust logging features that allow users to track their seizure events effectively. The log dashboard provides a high-level overview of past events, and users can also export log reports for further analysis.
• Multiple Emergency Contact Support: The app supports multiple emergency contact entries, ensuring that more than one person can be reached when assistance is required.
• Optional Audible Siren and Custom Voice Message: Users have the choice to include an audible siren and/or personalize a voice message that plays when a help request is sent.
• International Phone Number Support: SeizAlarm accommodates emergency contact entries with international phone numbers in addition to local ones.

• New users receive a complimentary 2-week trial of the help request service, allowing manual or automatic(through repetitive motion and/or heart rate detection) help requests to emergency contacts. After the trial period, a subscription to the help request service is required to continue accessing this feature. The subscription is priced at $17.99 per month or $179.99 per year and is auto-renewing.
• SeizAlarm is not an FDA-approved medical device and should not be considered as a means to prevent seizures or provide medical diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, or cure. It does not substitute proper medical care.
• Frequent use of GPS in the background may significantly impact battery life.
• It is recommended to place the iPhone on the arm using an armband for optimal seizure detection.
• Extended usage of seizure-like motion and heart rate detection on the Apple Watch may considerably reduce its battery life.
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment will be charged to the user's iTunes Account upon confirmation of purchase. The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, indicating the cost of the renewal.
• Users can manage subscriptions and disable auto-renewal by accessing their Account Settings after purchase.
• Cancellation of the current subscription is not allowed during an active subscription period. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited upon subscription purchase. The robust seizure log features do not require a subscription.
